The stay was absolutely pleasant. Appealing hotel, breakfast each day was super and the location in walking distance of the historic Caen castle was amazing. The double room was huge, it had an electric kettle, a mini-fridge-bar, and central heating. The bathroom was clean with a bathtub. The staff were all very helpful, superfriendly.

Parking was initially difficult to find, and the distance to the beaches of Normandy was a bit far. The lack of an elevator made it challenging to carry luggage up to the higher floors.

our stay at clos st martin was amazing! the huge, beautifully decorated room and comfy bed made us feel at home. the location was perfect - a short walk from restaurants and a free electric minibus to explore the city. the friendly host and delicious breakfast added the perfect touches.
